← When I Have No Confidence in Myself

Day 1 — Face It

It's Okay to Feel Unsure

2 Corinthians 12:10

“Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.”

Today's Teaching

It's a common feeling, this lack of confidence. You're not alone in thinking you might not be good enough, or that you'll fail. It’s easy to let these thoughts hold us back, keeping us from trying new things or even finishing what we started. We might even believe that we need to hide these feelings, to pretend we're strong and capable all the time. But God knows our hearts. He understands when we feel weak. In fact, the Bible tells us that when we are weak, that's when God's strength can shine through the most. Acknowledging our doubts is the first step toward finding His strength.

Putting It Into Practice

Don't ignore or hide your feelings of low confidence. Instead, tell God honestly how you feel. Remember that He welcomes your weakness.

Today's Challenge

Today, write down one specific situation or task where you feel a lack of confidence. Don't try to fix it, just acknowledge it.

Think About It

What is one specific thought you have when your confidence is low?

Let's Pray

Dear God, I admit that I often feel unsure and not good enough. It's hard to face challenges when I doubt myself. Help me to truly understand that You know my heart and that You can work through my weaknesses. Show me Your strength today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today's Takeaway

Admitting our lack of confidence opens the door for God's strength.
