Remember My Promises

MY CHILD,

Do you have My promises recorded in your heart? Can you today, right now, quickly recall the promises I have given you? Those promises fall into two categories. There are the general promises I give to all My children. Such promises as:

"I will never leave you or forsake you."

"I will supply all your needs."

Then, there are the specific promises I give to you individually. Promises geared to your specific situations, and your personal needs. These are the promises that give you a special, unique relationship with Me.

If you did not have such promises from Me, it is because you have not asked or listened. I give specific promises to all My children.

Ah yes, I know you live in a world of promise breakers, and broken promises. Day by day, you see promises broken, even promises made in My name.

Quite often you experience broken promises, and sometimes break promises yourself. You worry, will it be any different with Me? Will I keep what I have promised?

My child, here is where I differ from you, and others. I am faithful.

Let Me ask you a few questions.

Have I ever broken a promise to you?

Do you know of a promise I ever broke to anyone?

Can you name one time I have been unfaithful?

I encourage you. Do not let go of the promises I have given you.

Hold on.

If you do not have promises come, and fellowship with Me. It will not be long till you have promises that will be the basis of your hope and faith, promises that I will fulfill.
