What is True Faith?
From Your Father in Heaven
MY CHILD,
True Faith begins with a word from Me about My intentions, My desires, My will, and My plans as they refer to you; whether for yourself or others. Ask. Then listen to Me, and you will have a basis for faith. Your trust in Me, even though I am not a material, touchable, visible entity pleases Me immensely. When you have real faith you are willing to lay down what I ask, because you believe My promises.
Much that is called faith today is not faith. It is foolishness, presumption, wishful thinking, and positive thinking. These are not faith. Faith is in Me. You cannot trust a person’s words unless you know the person. Know Me.
Faith gives Me real pleasure.
Faith asks according to My will.
Faith believes I will deliver.
Faith waits in confidence in Me.
Faith praises Me.
Faith praises because it knows it will receive.
Faith believes I am.
Faith knows I will come and reward.
