Joseph's Thought

My Steadfast Love for You

From Your Father in Heaven

My Steadfast Love for You

My Child,

I see you. I see the quiet moments when your heart searches for assurance, and the louder ones when doubt tries to whisper its lies. You wonder, don't you, about the depth and steadfastness of My love for you? It's a question as ancient as humanity itself, and one I delight in answering, again and again.

Know this first, my beloved: My love for you is not a fickle thing, changing with the tides of your performance or the whims of your feelings. It is not earned by your good deeds, nor diminished by your mistakes. Before the mountains were formed, before the stars were flung into the darkness, I knew you, and I loved you. My love is an eternal current, flowing from the very heart of My being, constant and unwavering. There was never a moment you existed without My love enfolding you, and there never will be. I made you in My image, fearfully and wonderfully, and how could I not cherish the work of My own hands?

Perhaps you've looked at the world, at its brokenness and its pain, and wondered how such love could exist alongside such suffering. My child, the cross of My Son, Jesus, is the ultimate testament to My love. It was there that My heart was laid bare for all to see. I did not spare Myself, nor My only Son, but gave Him up for you, while you were still lost in your own way, so that you might be brought back into My embrace. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life. Jesus did this not because you were perfect, but precisely because you were not. His sacrifice bridged the chasm that separated us, making a way for you to know and experience My love fully and freely.

Sometimes, you feel unworthy, do you not? You remember your past failures, your present struggles, and you think, "Surely, God's love has limits, and I have found them." But My grace, which flows from My love, is boundless. When you confess your shortcomings, I am faithful and just to forgive you and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. My love does not ignore your sin, but it overcomes it. It calls you to repentance, not to shame you, but to draw you closer to My perfect righteousness, which I have freely given you in Christ. I see you through the lens of Jesus' perfection, and in Him, you are spotless and beloved.

My love for you also means I am intimately involved in your life. I know the desires of your heart, the burdens you carry, the silent prayers you breathe. When you feel alone, I am with you. When you are weak, My strength is made perfect in you. I am not a distant deity, but a Father who longs for communion with His child. I delight in your voice, in your praise, even in your honest struggles and questions. Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you.

My love is also patient. I know you are still learning, still growing. There will be seasons of doubt, seasons of questioning, seasons where you feel far from Me. But My love never fails. It pursues you, gently calls you back, and waits for you to return. Just as a shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep, I will always seek you out, My precious one. My arms are always open, ready to welcome you home, no matter how far you've strayed.

Rest in this truth, My child: You are deeply, unconditionally, and eternally loved by Me. It is the very foundation of your existence, the promise that undergirds your hope, and the strength that carries you through every trial. Do not let anything convince you otherwise. My Final Thought

My love for you is not merely a feeling; it is an active, sustaining power that works all things for your good, drawing you ever closer to My heart. Trust in it, lean on it, and let it be the anchor of your soul.
