Salvation Is God Saying, “Come Home”

If you've been around church very long, you've probably heard someone ask: “Are you saved?”
For some people, that question makes perfect sense. For others, it sounds like religious language that nobody ever really explained.
Those are important questions.
For years, I think many Christians have described salvation mostly in terms of what happens after we die. “You're saved, so you're going to heaven.”
And that's certainly part of the hope we have in Christ. But salvation is much bigger than that.
God doesn't only change your destination. He changes your relationship with Him.
That's what makes this teaching so personal. We weren't created merely to avoid judgment. We were created to know God.
Sin broke that relationship. Jesus came to restore it.
So as you go through this training, I want you to see salvation as more than a theological word.
And maybe by the end of this study, the word saved will mean a lot more to you than it did when you started.
